Enrolled Agent candidates in CAL U TECHโs Fall 2026 EA prep course get three months of free access to PracExamโs practice-exam platform, plus a discount after that.
California University of Technology (CAL U TECH), based in Tustin, California, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with PracExam to strengthen exam readiness for Enrolled Agent (EA) candidates. Under the agreement, students enrolled in CAL U TECHโs Certificate in Enrolled Agent Exam Preparation program receive three months of free access to PracExamโs practice-exam app.
The goal is straightforward: repeated, realistic problem-solving and mock exams so students can find their weak spots and build exam-day stamina before test day.
CAL U TECHโs Fall 2026 Enrolled Agent prep course begins Tuesday, September 1, and runs eight weeks โ two hours every Tuesday evening, 7 PM, via Zoom. The course works systematically through the IRS Special Enrollment Examinationโs (SEE) major domains, and goes beyond lecture to build pass-readiness through real exam-style questions and simulated tests.
Starting this term, the three months of free PracExam access made available through the MOU lets students tie lecture, self-study, and mock exams together into one loop instead of three separate efforts.
Individual federal income tax โ filing, income, deductions, credits, and the related federal tax law, organized around exactly what Part 1 tests.
Federal tax law as it applies to businesses and the self-employed โ business income, expenses and deductions, depreciation, partnerships, corporations, and S corporations.
What it takes to represent a taxpayer before the IRS โ procedure, tax ethics, taxpayer rights, IRS administrative process, and the core rules of Treasury Department Circular 230.
A comprehensive review of Parts 1, 2, and 3 together, using exam-style problem sets and simulations to build both test performance and real-world practice skill.
The centerpiece of the MOU is that every student enrolled in the prep course gets three months of free access to PracExamโs practice-exam app โ working through more than 5,000 exam-style questions, repeatedly, while training the time management and problem-solving skills the actual exam demands. CAL U TECHโs plan is to combine lecture, practice questions, mock exams, and repetition into one system that raises both study efficiency and pass rates.
The Enrolled Agent is an important professional credential โ one that combines specialized expertise in U.S. federal tax law with the ethical responsibility to serve taxpayers. CAL U TECHโs goal is to prepare students with the real-world knowledge and practical skills they need for actual tax practice, not just to get them through the exam.

The three months of free access to PracExamโs practice app, made available through our MOU with PracExam, will be a great opportunity for students to experience real exam conditions and repeatedly strengthen the areas where they fall short.
